Each Laica filter jug is equipped with two tanks, one upstairs and one downstairs. They communicate through the bi-flux® cartridge. The latter receives the water to be filtered from the upper tank and returns good-tasting filtered water to the lower tank within minutes.
The bi-flux® filter cartridge allows the reduction of heavy metals, chlorine , chemical pollutants, certain chlorinated pesticides and herbicides and trihalomethanes that may be present in the mains water. The mineral salts present in the water are in no way reduced by the bi-flux® cartridge, instead they are retained because they are important for our body.
The bi-flux® needs to be changed once a month and allows you to filter up to 150L. Replacement is very simple, the cost is very low and you can buy the bi-flux® filter cartridge at all major retailers, supermarket chains and online retailers.
